24 Dec Happy Holidays!
This is a wonderful time of year to reflect on everything I am grateful for. My family made it through a few health scares and I'm thrilled to have been given permission to do some “energy healing” on them this year (yahoo!). Time with family is always precious and I'm looking forward to visiting some of them in March 2014 while I'm in town as a speaker for the Tame Your Pain Event (details coming later!). My partner, James and I were able to skate in three skating shows this year and our Disco number was a real hit. I am so grateful to have a wonderful, supportive love partner and skating partner all rolled up into one!
Earlier this year, I published my book Guide to Healing Chronic Pain and it went to #1 Amazon bestseller in Kindle and then a few months later, it came out in paperback and hardcover via Balboa Press. What a labor of love that finally manifested in reality! A dream came true! I feel so very blessed that I am a “bestselling author”, thanks to the 15,000 folks who downloaded my book. If you were one of them – THANK YOU!
The USA and Canada book launch parties were a blast! Thanks to everyone who supported me including my colleagues, book mentors, editors, family members and friends
Training in the Emotion Code and Body Code healing modalities has expanded my ability to help people from all corners of the globe. Thanks Dr. Bradley Nelson for “being the messenger” of these Divinely inspired programs. I use them daily on myself and my patients and I'm seeing amazing levels of healing! Wow!
Thanks to the Learn it Live platform, I've been able to teach my holistic health classes online to a worldwide audience. I've had such a blast because I just LOVE teaching! And I am so grateful for my wonderful LifeWave team who have dedicated themselves to helping more people with acupuncture patches, Theta Nutrition and Cell phone protection.
I'm also grateful that 2012 was the year I began learning Acroyoga (and even got to play with my cousin who is fast becoming an expert in the art) and Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu (with my honey James who is now a certified instructor). James and I have just about perfected our pairs spins and hope one day to land double rotation jumps on the ice!
We've been busy all year with Drum and Dance performances and classes. Our local African dance class has more than 20 regular students so we're thrilled to be part of “raising the vibration” in our local community.
Lastly, I'm so very grateful to have found my “kids”, a group of amazing Indigo young adults, who have brightened my life and given me the opportunity to be a “mom” i.e. mentor, since I don't have children of my own.
